It is me... Suzzanne from Germany. I got your email last month and then my computer crashed hard. Wiped clean. Nothing left. Took weeks to fix. Had to start all over again. Don't have your email address. Please, please please send me your contact details. Would really like to keep in touch. Congrats on the new baby.

  3. Hi! I saw this post on Pinterest haha and was just wondering how you went about making your Mrs. Potato Head costume. I'm hoping that I can make one for myself and my husband to go along with our little Woody, Jesse, and Buzz! Great Pics! Thanks :)

    1. It was easy. I found a tan colored flat sheet at Ross on sale for $7.99. Wrap it around you so the short ends match up & sew it together about half way up. Put velcrow the rest of the way up so you can get in & out of it. Then I just sewed some elastic around the top & bottom (the 2 long ends) to make it tight around your neck & legs. With elastic you can control how tight or loose it is. Then for the face I used FOAM pieces from Walmart. The eyes & nose were painted paper plates. I just hot glued it all on. Easy Peasy. Good luck.

  4. Hi! I just saw your post. I love your family costume and thinking about having my husband dress up as Woody. I was wondering where did you find the fabric for your husband's vest? I'm hoping to use your Mrs. Potato Head idea for me since I'm preggers and our son can go as Buzz Lightyear. Thanks!

    1. I went to Joanne's for the cow print fabric. They didn't have it in anything except fleece (think fleece like the fleece blankets that you tie knots around & give as gifts.). You don't need much & I got it during a fleece sale for $3.00 a yard. I think I used maybe half a yard tops. I liked the fleece because you don't have to sew any seams. I'm all about the simpler the bett

    1. I stuffed it with crumpled up newspapers & plastic grocery bags. I only stuffed it a little bit because I was huge pregnant at the time, so I guess my baby boy was most of the stuffing. ;-)

    1. Definitely. I have 6 kids & Halloween gets SO hard when you're pregnant. This Mrs. Potato costume worked out perfectly to make me feel cute & still fit in with the family costumes. You totally have my permission to use it. :-)
