Taya earned a certificate to the Yankee Candle Factory to get her hand dipped in wax just like Lorien did back in November. Even though Trek is gone, I felt brave & packed up all six kids & headed out to Williamsburg for a day of fun.
Taya was SO excited to get her hand dipped in wax. She decided to do a "thumbs up" sign. It turned out adorable.

She colored her little hand green. Now she has a little thumbs up wax hand to remind her of her fun day at the Yankee Candle Factory.
After shopping for a while at the Factory, I took the kids to their favorite type of restaurant: a diner. There was a Denny's right next to the Yankee Store so we went there for a little lunch. The kids were so excited. They got little cupcake cups & never ending piles of pancakes. They were in heaven.
It was really fun having a "date" with my own kids. I need to do it more often! We always have such a great time together.
