In June, Trek's mom, grandma, & Auntie from Washington flew in to visit Auntie Marc who lives in Santa Cruz. Santa Cruz is less than an hour from us, so we visit Auntie a lot, but when we found out Oma, Grandma, & Auntie Char were going to be there too, we decided to go visit.
We all met at the boardwalk which is our favorite place in the world down there. The kids love the rides & the beach, & let's be honest, I'm there for all that wonderful FAIR FOOD.
Bladen was excited this summer because he finally hit the 48" mark & could ride any of the rides.
Canyon loved having Oma there.
With Bladen's new freedom to ride ANYTHING on the pier, he chose the scariest ride you could go on. Cadence rode it with him.
And though he was terrified, he was proud to say he rode it.
Canyon is my child; he goes for the best food.
We had cotton candy, chocolate covered bacon, dole whips, corn dogs, & dippin dots. It was a pretty amazing food day.
And then the kids rode every ride they possibly could until they were completely worn out.
The very last ride we all rode was the log ride. It's my girls' favorite ride.
It was a wonderful day to be with family, having fun, & eating good food. What a fun summer memory.
