Moab Trip 2025 - Day 4 - Corona Arch & driving home

The last day of our family vacation we drove out to Corona Arch for one last hiking adventure before driving home.

I will admit, this one got me.  None of the other hikes scared me, but we had to scale up the side of the cliff on ropes & ladders for this one & for some reason I was scared.  I cried going up the ropes & ladders & that's just not me.  (most likely I was just exhausted from mom dying, doing the entire funeral, then going hiking for miles on end 4 days in a row).  I did make it though.  Trek & the kids were cheering me on & that got me through it.

The arch itself was really pretty.  We spent a couple hours there relaxing, hiking, climbing, & just having fun.  I think the kids really enjoyed this one.

After playing for a while, we hiked back to the car.  By then, I wasn't worried about the ladders & ropes anymore.  I got down just fine.

Then we drove the 4 hours home.  It was a short, but super fun family trip.  I really needed that family time away from the craziness of life.

Moab Trip 2025 - Day 3 - Fishers Towers & Moab Fun

For Day 3 of our trip, we made our way to Fishers Towers.  Our plan for the day was to only explore this one area, then go explore Moab together as a family.

Fishers Towers were beautiful.  We hiked all the way around them & just enjoyed the scenery there.

The kids' favorite part was watching the 6 rock climbers literally climb to the tallest point of the tower.  It looked terrifying, but each of them made to the top, got pictures, then climbed back down again.  They were incredible.

After Fishers Towers, we went back to Moab to the cute little diner there & got milkshakes.

We explored the town, visited souvenir shops (lots of ROCK shops there which my boys LOVE), then headed back to the apartment for dinner, swimming, board games, & face masks.  Even the boys did the masks with us.  It was fun family time.
