September Happenings

It's officially September so you know what that means for the Potter House!

THIS IS HALLOWEEN!  THIS IS HALLOWEEN!

It's my favorite time of year.  As soon as the wedding was over, I went straight into Halloween mode & decorated my house.  It is my happy place & exactly what I needed for all the stresses of 2025.

Bladen went rappelling with some neighbor boys this month & is getting pretty good at it.  It used to scare him SO much, & now he's turning into quite the little pro.

Trek did his ROTC Seek & Evade night up in Logan in September.  He always looks forward to this event with his ROTC cadets.  They always have so much fun staying up all night & hiding from the cadre.  This year Trek's cadets took the 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place slots.  GO UTES!

We celebrated Elijah's birthday together with his family.  It was a lot of fun having the two families finally meet each other in person.  The boys LOVE Elijah's little brother & I quickly realized how much his mom & I are alike & how much Trek & his dad are alike.  We are going to have a TON of fun together with his family.

Bella continues to steal the hearts of the entire family, except when we have to give her a bath.  She's a HORRIBLE dog to bathe. . . plus she's an UGLY dog when she's wet.  ha ha ha.  (Most dogs are ugly when they are wet).  We still love her & she's so much fun to have around.

Canyon was inducted into the National Junior Honors Society in September.  He's worked so hard to keep his grades up, help lead the PTSA, & volunteer in our community.  He deserved this & we are SO PROUD of him.

Craiger continues to be the kids that keeps us laughing.  Before Lorien's bridal shower, Oma took us out for lunch at Zupa's & Craiger discovered their caramel chocolate covered apples.  When we first ordered it, he told us it looked gross & who wants apples for dessert.  We made him try a bite & I don't think any of us got any more bites after that.  He's a stinker.

Craiger also got his Ballroom Locker in September.  I am really proud of his hard work & dedication to learning his dances, working out to build up muscle & get stronger (so he can properly lift the girls), & I love how he's worked hard to make friends with everyone on his team.  He's having a lot of fun.

And then, here's just a sweet picture of Bella after getting groomed.  Isn't she precious?

September was crazy with the wedding, & then of course now we're preparing for Lorien's wedding, but it was a nice break between craziness.
