Carving Pumpkins

I know. . . it's January.  But I've got to post some cutie pie pics from Halloween since I didn't get the chance to while living at my parent's house.

We carved pumpkins on October 30th, the day before Trek had to leave for VA for 2 months.  It was our last little HOORAH as a complete family.  It's a family tradition & the kids love it.

Bladen, doesn't like it so much.  He kept saying it was gross.

But eventually we got him to dig out the "guts" of his own pumpkin without crying.

My girls LOVE LOVE LOVE carving pumpkins.  They love squishing the pulp in their hands, they love the pumpkin seeds, & they love creating their own faces.

Bladen let Daddy pic a face for him.  They opted for the cute vampire-like face.

Lorien's designs are always SUPER INTRICATE.  Look at all those teeth.  It took Trek 2 hours to finish hers up just because of the teeth.  But it turned out really cool looking especially lit in the dark.

And Cadence insisted on having eyelashes & freckles on her pumpkin.  SO CUTE.
