Spooky Stew & Bat Biscuits

This is one of MY favorite Halloween dinners.

Spooky Stew:

Instant Potatoes (or homemade mashed potatoes)

olives, sliced

stew meat

3 Tablespoons flour

2 Tablespoons oil

3 cups water

beef stew seasoning packet

5 cups of fresh veggies (clean out your crisper)

Cover stew meat with flour.  Heat a little bit of oil in a stew pot & fry your meat until brown on all sides.  Add water & seasoning packet & mix well.  Add veggies (I used peas, onions, celery, carrots, & potatoes) & simmer for 1 hour.

Make mashed potatoes & squeeze a ghost into your stew using a frosting bag.  Add olives for eyes & mouth.

Bat Biscuits:

refrigerated biscuit dough

bat cookie cutter

Cut bat shapes out of the biscuit dough & cook for 20 minutes.
