Camp Tonsofun - Day 5

For day 5 of Camp Tonsofun, we had a blast.  It was a fun day for us. . . just some fun together time.

For our camp craft I found the cutest little popsicle stick people.  I let the kids decorate their people any way they wanted to & then told them that they had to put on a "puppet show" for me when they were done.  

They made all the characters from the game "Clash of Clans" & it was HILARIOUS.  They are SO cute.  They put on several adorable plays with their little stick characters & it was a blast.

After that I took the kids up to Surry, VA to College Run Farms where we went blueberry picking with our friends.

My kids love getting out on the farm & picking blueberries, strawberries, corn, & even pumpkins when Fall rolls around.  We picked half a gallon of blueberries & ate who knows how many.  It was nice & overcast that morning so it was perfect weather too.

After picking, we got some homemade ice cream from the farm stand.  This is always my kids' favorite part of fruit picking here.  Their ice cream is to die for.

We went home & watched a movie together as a family: "Big Hero 6."

After the movie we walked down to Sonic & got slushies & MORE ice cream.

You only live once right?  Might as well eat as much ice cream as possible.

We just picked up the house & made it tidy for the weekend & called it a week.

It was Lorien's night to pick dinner & I made Southwestern Pasta Salad which is her very favorite.  

It was the perfect end to a perfect week.
