On February 3rd, Craiger got to experience his first O-Flight in a Cessna with the Civil Air Patrol. He has been looking forward to flying for what feels like forever. CAP is amazing & allows cadets to take 5 O-Flights piloting gliders with licensed instructors, & 5 O-Flights piloting Cessna's learning to fly an actual plane. He was SO excited.
He had a great pilot who showed him all the important things to do with pre-inspection, fueling the plane, & more.
Then they hopped in the plane & flew to Brigham City Airport & back. Craiger got to fly to Brigham City & he sat in the back on his way back to Salt Lake. He loved every minute of it.
This kid LIVES to be in the pilot seat. He has way too much fun. I love that he's found something he loves.
