On our way out of Vegas, we made a stop at the Hoover Dam. My grandfather helped build that dam when it was first being built. (He was a welder.)
The kids enjoyed just exploring the dam itself as well as the many gift shops along the way.

It was a quick stop before driving the 5 hours home, but it was a fun one.
It was a short spring break trip, but it was a blast. We did SO MUCH in 2.5 days & we loved having that much time with family. The kids are already asking when we can go again.
