Canyon was also accepted into NJHS again this year. Not only that, but he was asked to be one of the 5 NJHS Ambassadors for his entire school. (Just like his older brother, Craiger.)
The 5 ambassadors have regular lunches with the principal of the school to assess needs & come up with plans to make the school a better experience for the students, help plan service projects for the students, & brainstorm ideas on how to make the school a better place. Canyon is THRILLED to be appointed to this important position in school leadership.
For the induction ceremony, each of the 5 ambassadors got to give a speech about one of each of the 5 characteristics important to NJHS. He was assigned "scholarship." Each were given their topic & some words to say about it. Canyon memorized his speech & did such an amazing job delivering his words. He is going to be a great ambassador.
I'm so proud of this kiddo of mine.
