Canyon decided to join Cross Country this year at his middle school. He was SO proud to officially be on a team for the school. He was SO looking forward to his race.
His race was 2 miles & he was ready to go. He practiced all month by running 2 miles 3x a week & I was super proud of his progress. I love that he found something he enjoyed doing while learning teamwork, building up strength & endurance, & just finding the joy in something HARD.
He came in 38th out of over 100 racers. We are so proud of all the hard work he put into this season. We are so proud of you Canyon for trying something new & doing something HARD.
