I love all the cute little festivals here in Germany. We decided to go to a lake & there happened to be a music festival there when we showed up. It was great. This little lake is only about 10 minutes from our house & is such a lovely little walk.
Anytime my kids come across any type of playground "toy" that spins, they have to try it out. They love German parks.
What's even better than a spinning vortex of terror? How about a 100 degree metal slide of death? ha ha ha. Seriously, you CANNOT beat how fun German parks are. They focus on being outside, exploring nature, & learning how things work. Their parks are just amazing.
This park had a full working water pump, water wheel, & several outlets that you could control water flow in. It taught the kids how water works, how erosion works, & let them learn science through trial & error. I'll be bringing them back to this park a lot.
It was fun. There were food booths, carnival rides, a gelato truck that we just couldn't pass up, & beautiful music everywhere you turned. What a great way to spend a Saturday night.
