For September 11th, 2024, all of the ROTC detachments at the U of U met at the stadium before the sun came up to run up & down every stairwell in the stadium. There are almost as many stairs in the stadium as there were in the twin towers on September 11, 2001. (The twin towers had a few more). The ran up & down for an hour while someone updated them on what was happening at that exact time on September 11, 2001.
Trek was proud of his cadets & how strong they were, how they endured to the end, & how hard they worked. They are the the best cadets in the world.
It was hard. It was exhausting. It was important.
Never Forget.
