November Happenings 2024

Taya has had such a fun year on the Alta High School Ladies Ballroom team.  She's made so many friends & had so many fun experiences.

She is one of 3 juniors on the team.  She is the oldest person on the team so she is really good at stepping up & taking care of the all the girls.

Being an artist, she designed the Ladies Ballroom logo for the school.  She has her own special locker by the dance room with her name & the logo she created on it.  It's darling.

Craiger finally got all the patches he needed for his flight suit for CAP.  He loves wearing the flight suit (it's so much more comfortable than the ABU's).

Taya has been sewing a lot this year.  She's had a sewing class & a fashion design class at school & then has been borrowing my sewing machine for all sorts of projects at home.

For church, we did a stake service project where she sewed 2 backpacks for kids in need.

Bladen got a new appliance in his mouth as part of his braces.  His teeth are looking SO good.  This new appliance does the same thing a headgear did back in the day, but it's all inside your mouth instead of outside.  It does bother him, but it's working.  This will correct his jaw so he doesn't need surgery & it should fix his bite as well.

In November, we celebrated Mickey Mouse's Birthday (of course).

And Lorien continued excelling in culinary school.  She did a whole unit on seafood & cooking lobster was her favorite thing that semester.

Bladen officially passed his driving permit test & is now on the road (with me in the car of course).  He's been driving every chance he can get.  He loves it.  (Boys are so different than girls).  He'll get his license in May after his 16th birthday (April 28th).

Canyon scared us & nearly broke a rib playing soccer at school.  I swear this kid & his accidents.  The school called & told me he had fallen & was having a hard time breathing so we took him to the ER.  No fully broken rib, but they think it was probably a small fracture.  They gave us orders to keep him steady & still the best we could, but that recovery shouldn't take very long.  He was up & around again within a week.

We had a wonderful November & hope you all did too.
