The play Canyon was in this summer was a huge success.
Broadway Kidz Utah does an amazing job at putting together the most amazing plays that allow them to learn & grow so much. The costumes this year were amazing!!
Canyon was an earth giant for the first act & was in 2 of the scenes. Those costumes were incredible. He was up on bucket stilts & had crutches for arms. It was a hard costume to move around in, but it was awesome.

Canyon wasn't in the water act, but he was in the fire act as a member of the "Burnas Brothers" boy band. They sang "Burnin Up" by the Jonas Brothers & they were hilarious. It was my favorite scene in the entire play.

The Burnas Brothers were also in the Disco Queens scene as well which was darling.

Then for the air act, he was an air spirit & was in 3 different songs. He got to fly a kite for one of them which was pretty cool.

For the 2 finale songs in the play, he remained an air spirit.

The entire thing was so fun & everyone loved it. Canyon loves the friends he makes at Broadway Kidz. We always look forward to May when rehearsals begin. It's been a great year for him since he graduated up into the "teen" group which was awesome for him. He really bonded with those older boys.
And we're so grateful that so many family & friends came ot watch him perform. He did such a fabulous job.
If you'd like to be a part of this wonderful program, auditions usually start in May & run throughout the summer mornings on different days. It's an amazing program for kids & everyone who auditions gets a part which is great.
