Our church congregation's group of young women (ages 12-18) had a little money left over in their yearly budget for activities so they decided to spend it on an adventure for the girls. So all the girls packed up their things for a VERY FUN OVERNIGHT ADVENTURE TOGETHER.
They wound up driving to Belgium for 24 hours! The adult leaders planned out a fun stay at a hostel in Belgium followed by a full day at an adventure park there full of via ferratas, rock climbing, a ropes course, several obstacles courses, & more. I was surprised at how brave both Lorien & Taya got. Some of those cliff faces were NOT for the faint of heart. It makes me proud to know that they faced their fears & did something HARD. . . & not only that, but they had a blast doing it.
They had an absolute blast with their friends. I love this group of youth & the fun things they do together. These are memories that will stick with my girls forever.
