Multicultural Assembly - Jive - Craiger

January brought the yearly Multicultural Assembly at the high school & this time Craiger got to dance!  He we so excited.  He's been attending extra rehearsals after school to polish this one up & it looks SO cute.  He does such a great job.

They did amazing & Craiger looked like he had a blast out there.

I love the high school ballroom team.  They are such good friends & such good kids.  Craiger has had a blast this year.

January 2026 Happenings

January flew by like every month seems to do nowadays.  But we had a lot of fun too.

I love that my married kiddos meet every couple of weeks for dinner & board games.  That makes my mommy heart happy.

Canyon finished this amazing lego set of Pompeii exploding.  I think this was his favorite set ever.

Our derpy dog Bella still is loved by every kid in this house even though she's got to be the laziest dog I've ever seen.  And talk about bed-head.

I take her for walks that are NOT very long, but to her, it is an eternity & she is completely useless for the rest of the day.  But she sure is cute when she's exhausted & wearing her favorite sweater.

She also likes to hide from me in the house.  I couldn't find her ANYWHERE, but I found her after 30 minutes of searching.

Taya turned in her missionary papers in January.  Isn't that exciting?  She will be serving an 18 month mission for our church.  When the papers get turned in, she meets with her bishop (Trek), then her stake president, then all the paperwork goes up to the head leaders of the church & they choose where she gets to serve.  She is very excited.

January was the month of SICKNESS at our house.  Craiger & Trek got hit with it the worst, but Bladen, Taya, Canyon, & I all had a form of it at some point.  Trek is still dealing with a lingering cough (even 3 months down the road), but Craiger had it the worst in January & wound up missing a LOT of school, poor kid.

I love these sweet boys of mine.  My friend took this picture at church.

January was a quick one, but we had a lot of fun too.

Dave & Buster's Family Fun

For Christmas, Trek's sister got our family 2 full hours of arcade fun at Dave & Buster's in Salt Lake.  The kids had a blast.  They played every single game in that arcade, won a bazillion tickets, got prizes, & had a blast.

Bladen was REALLY good at the dance dance revolution style games.  I was surprised at how coordinated he was with his feet.  I'm terrible at stuff like that.

Trek & I got to play some of the games too. . . but I was terrible.  ha ha ha.  It was super fun though.  And I enjoyed having that time with the kids.

It was a great night.  I love family time.
