Being the short month February is, it flew by SO SO SO fast & was jam packed with birthdays, mission calls, activities, & ballroom competitions. Here's some of the more random things we did in Februrary.
Bella continues to be a very spoiled little dog.
Groundhog Day was celebrated with "groundhogs in a blanket" for dinner & groundhog dessert cups. We also watched the movie since it's a family favorite.
Cadence celebrated her 23rd birthday with us by coming over on a Sunday night, eating a fabulous birthday dinner, opening presents, & hanging out with the family. It was wonderful.
Trek & I took full advantage of our first "play" as season ticket holders for the Hale Center Theater. We went & watched "Peter Pan Goes Wrong" & enjoyed dinner at my favorite restaurant: Santorini's.
Valentine's weekend, we had the opportunity to drive up to Idaho to see one of Taya's very best friends open her mission call. Rylee got called to South Korea & we are SO HAPPY & EXCITED for her.
It's so fun meeting up with our "Germany family" every so often. Oh how I miss them all.
Both Mardi Gras & Chinese New Year were celebrated this year in our house. We had jambalaya & king cake for mardi gras & Canyon got the baby in his piece of cake. We made my dad's favorite sweet & sour stir fry (his famous recipe from Taiwan) for Chinese New Year.
And of course we also celebrated Lorien's GOLDEN birthday. 21 years old on the 21st of February. We had a big birthday dinner, ANOTHER KING CAKE, & presents. It's so much fun celebrating these wonderful kids of mine.
