Bladen & Taya both went to Sweethearts this year. Taya asked her boyfriend, Xander, but we got a fun surprise when Taya's friend, Izzy, invited Bladen to be her date to the dance.
This would be Bladen's first high school dance & he was very excited. He even bought her flowers.
The kids had a blast. They came over to take pictures in our backyard. It was a 50's theme for this one, so they were dressed up super cute.
For their activity, they made little drive in cars out of boxes & watched a movie in them. Then they made a diner style dinner (pancakes, sausage, bacon, eggs) in our kitchen & finished off with some yummy milkshakes. It was adorable.
Then they were off to the dance. It sounds like they all had a lot of fun.
