On March 25th, Lorien went on her very first date. One of our family friend's son asked her out & he put together a really creative & fun first date even though we were in the middle of a complete lockdown/quarantine.
The rules at that time were that you could have one person outside of your immediate family in your home, so Gideon picked her up & took her to his house. Once they got to his house, they got on a zoom call with 2 other friends & their dates. All while online together, they cooked/baked food & desserts for each other & then did a Bob Ross painting tutorial together. What a fun & creative way of doing a "group date" but still abiding by all the German COVID rules & laws. I was really impressed with these boys who organized this fun date so Lorien could have her first date.
They had a great time. It was a fun first date experience with a fun friend. . . a great first for her.
