Happy 8th Birthday to my little Canyon! I can't believe my baby is 8!
Canyon is my happy, go-lucky, always trying to make you laugh kiddo. He brings so much laughter & joy to our lives. And those blue eyes . . . melt my heart.
His birthday theme this year was Lego which is one of his favorite things. My friend Nancy wrapped all her gifts to him in custom Lego wrapping paper.
Nancy also got him 2 Mario Lego sets to match his little Mario Lego collection. He was pretty excited about having Bowser's Castle to add to his collection.
Craiger spent some allowance money on some Maoam's for him.
The kids got him a minecraft figure storage box with some mini minecraft figures.
Mimi & Baba got him a Mario drone (which he LOVES to fly around the fields behind our house).
Opa & Oma got him a Mario remote controlled car. (The kid LOVES Mario).
Nancy is known for always sending plenty of clothes & shoes for birthdays. Canyon was extra excited for 2 Mario Lego sets, a coloring book, & a Mario bedding set for his bed.
For his birthday dinner, he requested Kraft Mac'n'cheese, Cucumbers, & applesauce.
I was also able to call Tony (the eis man) & have him come park in our driveway to celebrate with us. We got some milkshakes, spaghetti eis, & banana splits. His gelato is the BEST.
He was SUPER excited to get his new Mario bedding on his bed.
The day after his birthday, he was able to invite 2 friends over to celebrate with him. The COVID rules are always changing & he was happy to learn that he was allowed 2 friends this time. He couldn't wait to see them.
I made Lego cupcakes with homemade chocolate Lego on top. He was SO excited.
And of course, the kids watched the Lego Movie 2 for entertainment.
Canyon is SO lucky to have such wonderful friends.
Happy Birthday little guy. It's GREAT to be EIGHT!
