May Happenings

There were a lot of small fun things that happened in May.  We can never get enough of the beautiful trails all around us.  Whether we're walking, hiking, bike riding, or running, the trees & woodlands paths seem to call us.  I never want to leave.

Lorien finished off May playing Goalie on the Ramstein High School Girls Soccer Team.  My kids always make me SO very proud with all they do.  She has never played on a school team before & decided to give it a try.  She was VERY excited to make the team & have fun playing for 8 weeks.  Though they didn't get to have any games (COVID), they trained for 3 hours a day 5 days a week & she really really improved her soccer skills during that time.  I'm SO proud of her.

And Lorien, Cadence, Taya, & Bladen really got into May's spirit weeks at school.  They went through all our closets & costumes to find the perfect things to wear on themed days like COWBOY day.

Tony, our wonderful eis man comes almost every day now & we love just getting a scoop of eis every time he comes.  Summer wouldn't be the same without him.

The rapeseed flowers were in bloom all of May & you just never tire of their beautiful yellow blossoms.  There's nothing in the world like the endless fields of yellow in Spring.

Cadence & I got our 2nd COVID vaccination shots together & then the next day,
Taya, Bladen, & Lorien got theirs as well.  This family is fully vaxxed!
(Well, until they allow the littles to get shots, then Craiger & Canyon will get theirs)

Taya loved 80's day at school.

May was very fast, but we enjoyed every second of it.
