We got up Tuesday morning & started packing up our things before we headed out for home.
Trek got up early & ran the property. It truly is a beautiful piece of land in the mountains. We will love visiting as often as we can.
We said our goodbyes to Trek's sister & little nieces, then decided to stop off at Moffet Field (where we lived for 4 years) to see how things have changed over the years.
The kids were VERY excited to see that the blimp hanger now had a cover on it. When we lived there it was just a skeleton of metal bars. It looks really nice now.
We drove past our old neighborhood & house, then went to the base commissary (grocery store) to pick up some yummy German goodies. I miss using the commissary. It's weird not living near a base.
Then we piled everyone back in the car & drove to the airport so we could head back home to UT.
It was a wonderful little trip.
