Clogs

Before we left the Netherlands & headed back home, there was one more stop we needed to make.

We couldn't possibly go home without buying wooden clogs!

We found this adorable woman's shop (in the garage of her house) where she hand makes wooden clogs & sells them.

I bought a decorative pair to hang on my wall.  She hand carved the intricate patterns in them.  They were SO beautiful.

And Taya & Lorien bought a pair to use as decoration as well.

And then we were on our way home again.  What a wonderful family weekend spent together.
