After the safari, the grown ups went out to dinner at a really nice restaurant, & Opa & Oma stayed back with the kids to play & spend time with them.
They had the cutest little craft project for them. Oma made a snake head out of a big rock & then brought a bunch of smaller rocks for the kids to paint pictures on. Each grandchild painted a few rocks & would become the body of the "Family Reunion Snake."
We'd then put the snake in Tylee's yard for her to remember our reunion. She put SO much work into planning it that we wanted to thank her in some way & have her remember us being there.
When we got home from dinner, all the cousins were snuggled up on the couch watching movies. I'm so grateful they got some cousin time in.
