We heard through the grapevine that Salt Lake Does a German Christmas market one weekend in December, so we made sure to mark our calendars so we could 100% be there. We miss Germany so much, especially during the Christmas season. Christmas markets make us feel HOME for the holidays.
It was a cute little Christmas market. They do a really good job here. They even had the open fires where you can stand to get warm. I forgot how much I miss those little details of Europe.
There were lots of fun things to eat (SUPER EXPENSIVE, but fun). Taya opted for chocolate covered cheesecake. I really really wanted to get some Swiss Raclette, but they were out (because it's SO GOOD).
We just wandered about & looked in all the cute little shops until we got so cold we thought our fingers would fall off.
It was such a fun night. We 100% will make this a family Christmas tradition from here on out.
