Trek spent Mon-Tues with the girls at their leadership retreat, then Wed-Thurs back up at the same campground with the young men doing another leadership retreat only to come home & GO CAMPING AGAIN on Friday night with Bladen & the other deacons (boys ages 11-13) in our church.
I think Bladen absolutely LOVED having his dad there camping with him.
They played soccer golf, pitched tents, made & ate dinner, & just had a blast together with the other boys & dads.
Afterward, Trek took Bladen to the auto shop & taught him how to change the brakes on our van. They were a MESS, but they loved every minute of it. And they saved us a TON of money by doing it themselves. I love that Trek takes the time to teach our boys these important skills.
