After visiting the cemetery, our guide ended our tour at Omaha Beach. We stood for an hour on the pier while he told us the stories about what happened on Omaha Beach. It was raining, the temperature was below zero & the kids were freezing, but they did good. The beach was beautiful & I loved hearing the stories of D-Day.
We thanked the kids for being so good in the freezing cold by taking them to their favorite place in the world: McDonalds (ugh, but they love it).
