Wildpark Potzburg

The great thing about where we live is that there is SO MANY interesting things all around us.  We ventured over to Wildpark Potzburg for a day & it was only 15 minutes from our house.  We knew it had animals, but we didn't realize we'd get to actual touch & play with them.  This park was incredible & we spent the entire day here.

The kids LOVED feeding all the animals.  They were all such gentle animals too.

There is an amazing area with TONS of birds, including a beautiful bald eagle area.  There's a wonderful bird show that they do in the afternoon as well.

Wildpark Potzburg is located on the very top of a mountain.  The scenery from up there is gorgeous.  Pictures just don't do it justice.

The kids especially loved the foxes.  They were beautiful & had blue blue eyes.  They were very calm & ate the food out of the kids' hands.  They LOVED petting them.

There was a fun playground area with a teeter totter, a trampoline, & a human sized hamster wheel.  The kids (& Trek) had way too much fun with this.

We had a delcious lunch of pretzels, schnitzel, & cheesecake.  The kids always love food.

But the highlight of the entire day was meeting the goats.  We probably spent well over 2 hours in the goat pen.  We fed them, we carried them, we cuddled them, they even fell asleep in our laps.  It was SO MUCH FUN.  It was hilarious because at first, all the kids were scared to death of them, but then they absolutely loved them.

We had so much fun.  We will definitely be going back again.  We miss our goat friends!
