Fun Park

Well, Spring Break did NOT go as originally planned.  When Canyon fell & broke his back, we immediately wondered if we were going to be able to manage our 10 day trip to Italy, Croatia, Slovenia, & Austria.  Sure enough, we were given strict orders to keep him down for 3 weeks so his back could heal.  I wasn't surprised & though it was painful to cancel our big trip, we were still so grateful Canyon was okay & that he'd make a full recovery.

We decided to spend the first day of spring break at the fun park in Kaiserslautern with some friends who were still in town.  My kids LOVE Fun Park.  They have tons of trampolines, a ninja warrior course, & a ton of other fun little activities to do.  We signed up for a full hour of jumping fun.

Lorien & Taya especially loved the light racing game.  Lorien beat Taya first, then she beat our friend Ethan, then Taya beat Ethan as well.

The jousting was another favorite game.  All the kids took turns jousting each other into a huge foam pit.

We spent the entire hour jumping, racing, falling, & just laughing our heads off.  The kids got me stuck in the foam pit a few times which made everyone laugh.  We had a great time.

We finished the afternoon with some yummy slushies.  Then Trek took the older kids to see the movie "Dungeons & Dragons" while I stayed home with Craiger & Canyon & watched the new Puss in Boots movie.
