It was fun having Sharon & Dale here for Stake Conference. They enjoyed coming to church with us & they got a kick out of the German hymnals.
After church we took them to Burg Lichtenberg just up the road from our house. This is our favorite castle in our area because it's close & because it's beautiful. We do Halloween, prom, family, & other pictures here year round. It's fun.
They enjoyed exploring the castle grounds & getting great pictures with all the beautiful parts of the castle.
After exploring the castle, we came back home & celebrated Mardi Gras (which was on the 21st when I was still in London.)
We made some red beans & rice with Cajun sausage, some chicken & sausage jambalaya, & a king cake for dessert. Canyon helped me make the king cake this year (& I totally didn't get a picture because we were so busy! I really really wish I had taken a picture!)
Craiger got the baby in his piece of cake so he gets to bake the king cake next year.
Whitney also played barbershop & cut Bladen's hair, trimmed Lo's hair, & cut bangs into Taya's hair.
Bladen looks so nice with his new haircut. I love it.
It was a pretty chill day & we enjoyed spending time together as a family chatting & playing.
