Readathon Winners

Before Canyon's accident in March, he was part of the school read-a-thon.  The students had to read as many minutes as they could & help raise funds for the school.  The top readers & fund raisers got to be part of a special HEROS lunch at Heros Grill on base.

Canyon was 2nd in the school for fund raising 

(thank you to grandparents & aunts & uncles who always support my kiddos).

Canyon had just started back at school again.  (He was on his back for a full month before returning to school on April 17th). He was excited to be picked up by a special bus full of balloons & streamers, driven to the restaurant, & then got a fun lunch with me, the other winners, & the school mascot & principal.

It was a ton of fun for Canyon & I loved being invited too.  We had a fun time together.
