We always look forward to our monthly visit to San Francisco to be with Trek's sister Tylee. I love that she lives so close. It seems like FOREVER since we've been to the temple too, & Tylee always watches the kids for us so that we can go.
We drove up after the kids got out of school on Friday & got there just in time to pick up Tylee from work. We went home & Tylee made Bladen some brownies for his birthday (which is in 2 weeks). Bladen actually got in on the making of the brownies. I think he enjoyed having some one on one time with his Auntie.
I just sat with Craiger while they had fun together.
While the brownies baked, we all huddled in the living room & watched a movie together. Trek got some good one on one time with Craiger. He was SO cute bundled up in Tylee's leopard blankie.
Then it was time for a candle & a round of "Happy Birthday."
Bladen seemed embarrassed that we were singing to him, but when the time came to blow out the candle, he knew exactly what to do.
Then we enjoyed the brownies with chocolate ice cream.
But the highlight of the night for me was watching Tylee hold Craiger. Poor kid. I don't know what was going through his mind as she chatted away at him, but the look on his face & the body language he was putting out was cracking us all up!
We love Auntie Tylee!
