April was a busy, but fun month. It was mostly filled with play performances which took up most of mine & Cadence's time, but we were still able to have some family fun, get some school awards, & be silly too.
Trek took Canyon on a date (while I took Cadence out) & they played at Pratt Park, had dinner at Chick Fil A & had ice cream at Sweet Frog. (I'm going to miss Chick Fil A when we move to Germany.)
The 3 girls have been having some spring (almost summer) fun with the other teenagers from church. They've done some campouts, bonfires, outside games, bowling, movies, & other fun activities. We've got a great group of teens here. We will miss them.
After one of the play performances in April, we managed to go to a 10:40 showing of Avengers Endgame. After 2 1/2 hours of action, excitement, & tears, we finally made it home after 2 am. It was AMAZING.
The girls & I always have time for mask night. We love wearing silly face masks together on Sundays. It's great bonding time for us, & it's healthy for our skin. We love it.
In April, Canyon had his Habitat Day at his school. His class was assigned "the desert." They decorated their hall like a giant desert & learned all about the plant & wildlife there. He was proud of everything he drew, wrote, & learned during this unit.
Lorien was published twice in the school magazine at Prattville Junior High School. There was a whole ceremony & social celebrated all the schools who were chosen to be published. She has grown leaps & bounds academically this year. We are SO proud of her.
Bladen was awarded his Bear Scout in April & is now working on his Webelos badge. He loves scouts & can't wait to continue in Germany.
And Craiger got his first belt loop award as a Wolf scout. He's been working hard at completing his scout badge goals. He wants to be just like his big brother & get as many as he can.
April was a great month.
