Morocco - Day 4 - Sandboarding

We woke up early the next morning & got ready in the dark.  (The generator that runs the lights wasn’t working).  Trek & I got up early enough to watch the sun rise over the sand dunes.  Of course we sang “Bah, see, vin, yah!  Mala, ghee, see, low, va!”  Because . . . Africa!  When in Africa, sing the Lion King as the sun rises!  Breakfast was yummy again. . . yogurt, flatbread, pancakes, pound cake, & hot chocolate this time.  It was wonderful.

After breakfast, we packed everything up once again, & then sand boarded for about 40 minutes before our camels came to pick us up.  Sandboarding was kind of funny.  It’s not like snowboarding where the ground is slick.  Sand is not slick so you go down REALLY slow.  The kids laughed & laughed because of how slow you go down.  But I think they had fun anyway.  Trek got into it too.  It was cute.
