The Sunday before Easter Sunday, Trek got put in as the 2nd Counselor of the Bishopric of our ward here in Mountain View. Since that position requires him to be ordained to the office of a high priest, his mom & dad came up (& my sister-in-law with her kids) to be a part of that.
Then, early Monday morning, we headed out to go down to Trek's parent's house for Easter Week (Spring Break). We definitely needed a vacation from everything that's been happening lately & boy were we excited.
Road Trips are always fun. My kids love them. Opa & Oma only live about 5 hours away so it was a short trip.
We stopped at McDonalds along the way & had lunch together. My kids sure love being with their cousins.
Once we got to Opa & Oma's house, we just relaxed & unpacked a bit. Then for dinner we all went out to our favorite pizza place in Valencia. They make custom pizza's there so everyone gets what they like.
It was SO nice to be with Opa & Oma, Auntie Carolyn & the kids' 3 cousins, & Uncle Tuhk. We love family time.
